Waist cinchers

Waist cinchers do what it says on the tin. They cinch in the waist, giving the wearer an instant hourglass. For an experienced wearer, the change in waist size can be as much as six or seven inches. Our corsets do this with no less than 24 spiral steel bones for an outstanding level of support and a garment that will keep its shape over time, no matter how tightly laced it might be.

The cinchers are some of our best and most carefully designed corsets. You'll find other corsets with substantial waist-shrinking ability in the Steel Boned section and scattered throughout the site but few can offer a waist reduction of this magnitude. As we're sure you'll agree, six inches of slimming (three dress sizes) is quite a difference.

Just one word of caution before you check out the range and find your perfect cincher: corset training is a serious business. Like any kind of training, whether you're taking a cooking class or preparing for a marathon, it's best to start off easy and slow then work your way up to more intense activity. Don't try lacing the corset as tight as it will possibly go immediately- wear it more loosely at first. Let your body get used to the corset gradually.

If you are undertaking a long-term body reshaping exercise involving training corsets, consult a doctor first (if you haven't already). It's best to be absolutely sure how you're going to go about it safely and understand the potential consequences fully before getting started.
