Fascinators

We adore fascinators, and not just for burlesque. You can wear a fascinator anywhere- to a formal dinner, as part of a casual vintage outfit for a Saturday morning coffee, or on stage. They mean all the fun of wearing a fancy hat without the need to actually cover your carefully coiffed hair. You don't need to take a fascinator off when you come inside and anyone can wear one.

We've got bold, spectacular fascinators with tiny top hats built in, and we've got subtle, sophisticated fascinators- simple flowers and feather plumes. Each one brings something unique to an outfit. It might be a tough of vintage class, a flash of color, or just a style statement. It's almost impossible of an outfit to be boring if it's worn with one of these.

As burlesque accessories, they convey just the right attitude. Wear one and it'll be clear that you're the kind of person isn't afraid to stand out from the crowd, and someone who knows that having fun is 90% of the way to looking fantastic. They're bold, beautiful, and a pleasure to wear.  Most fascinators either attach with a crocodile clip or a headband. The hair clip is a little more discreet, but on the other hand, discreet isn't everything, and a 20s-style headband makes a statement of its own.

Everyone should try wearing a fascinator at least once, but few people can stop there. They're not expensive and they are one of the finer things in life, so why not start a collection?
