Burlesque corsets
A good corset is the foundation behind the best burlesque outfits. They are by their very nature glamorous things, wearable objects of desire- or at least, our corsets are! We aim to create the most eye-catching on the market, and make them as practical as possible too. They should be spectacular but wearable, strong but sumptuous to look at.
Most of the corsets on this page are steel boned. When tightly laced the wearer can expect their waist to be brought in by four to five inches. Those from the Waist Training range can change the figure even more than that, and there are also some fashion burlesque corsets, which don't draw in the waist at all. They are lighter, cooler, and easier to move in though, so it's not all negative.
Those with a fuller figure might like to opt for something steel boned. Plus size corsets offer an excellent level of support and will show off your assets to the greatest possible extent. DD cup or greater? Go steel boned and you won't regret it.
The corsets can be bought individually and paired with a skirt and/or ruffle pants, or as a complete unit with an integrated skirt. That's the easiest way to get a burlesque outfit together but it's not the end of the story- whether you buy the components separately or opt for a dress, a good ensemble calls for more- make it your own by accessorising with a fascinator, some glamour eyelashes, and maybe some old-fashion silk stockings. If you might want to wear stockings, look for a corset with suspender loops. There are plenty of them in the range.
